How do you market a product in Japan? Well, apparently Microsoft found the answer to that question. They have released Windows Vista Home Premium in pink packaging, exclusively for the Japanese market. The package includes a 1 year subscription of Windows Live OneCare and a copy of Vista tips and tricks book bundled inside. Story via istartedsomething.com.

While the pink packaging doesn’t strike as suprising (knowing the Japanese), Microsoft surely could’ve done better than just putting up a fancy box like this. I mean, we’re talking about a country where you can find packagings like these..

Surely, they could’ve done much better.
